command never increments.

Escape character - defines the
value of the escape character that
may be used to exit from the
online mode. If there is no data
for an interval greater than or
equal to the Guard Time and then
three consecutive escape
characters are received, the
module will return to the AT
command mode from the online
mode while keeping the data
connection alive.
0-127 – The specified
character is the escape
character (default = 43)
128-255 – the escape
feature is disabled
