Warranty

This luminaire is covered by a 12 month warranty from the date of purchase. Please retain proof of purchase.
•
Warranty will be void if there is any damage due to improper usage or modification to the luminaire.
•
Failure to comply with the instructions in this manual may increase the risk of damage or injury and will void warranty.
Installation Requirements
•
Battery:
3 x 1.5VDC AA battery (Not included)
OR
1 x 3.7VDC 18650 rechargeable Li-ion battery (Not included)
•
Select a suitable location for this luminaire:
- This luminaire is not waterproof.
- This luminaire is suitable for indoor use only.
- Keep away from liquids, dusty, humid, direct sun light, cooking areas or hot areas.
•
Lay out all the components on a smooth surface and make sure there are no components missing.
If parts are missing, return the complete luminaire to the place of purchase for inspection or replacement.
•
Check whether the luminaire has been damaged during transport. Do not operate/install any luminaire which
appears damaged in any way. Return the complete luminaire to the place of purchase for inspection, repair or
replacement.
Operation Directions
Battery installation/Replacement
1. Open the lid of the battery compartment on the back of the luminaire.
2. Install 3 x AA batteries (Not included) OR 1 x 18650 Li-ion battery (Not included) into the battery compartment.
Ensure the batteries are inserted with the correct polarity.
3. Install the lid back over the battery compartment and ensure it is secure.
Operation
1. Use the ‘ON/OFF/AUTO’ switch to turn the luminaire on/off or to the motion sensing mode.
ON position – The luminaire will be permanently on;
OFF position – The luminaire will be permanently off;
AUTO position – The luminaire will be turned on automatically when any motion is detected. It will be turned off after 20
seconds if no motion is detected. (NOTE: The luminaire will only be activated when the ambient light < 10lux)
2. Stick the magnet on the metal surface of the desired location.
NOTE: There is a metal plate provided with ‘3M’ adhesive tape in case no metal surface is found on the desired location.
Ensure the surface is smooth, dry and clean before applying the ‘3M’ adhesive tape.
Charging
1. Charge the luminaire via the USB charging port if rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery is installed.
NOTE: The luminaire MUST NOT be charged when the 3 x AA batteries is installed.
