Top climate system

with LUBING Touch Controller

Mounting FlexClamp nozzles:

–

Ensure that the pipe and seal on the nozzle are clean.

– Spray some soapy water on the pipe.

–

Place the support of the mounting tool (art. 7840) on the pipe.

–

Place the FlexClamp nozzle in the middle of the hole on the pipe.

– Twist the FlexClamp nozzle into place using the mounting tool.

– The nozzle must not be tilted or at an angle.

– Work with both hands.

4.5.9 Installation of section valves (Vario systems)

In systems with several separately controlled areas, high-pressure valves are installed in front of the compartments.

The orientation of the high-pressure valves is preferably with the solenoid coil pointing upwards. During installation,

pay attention to the direction of the valve. The arrow on the housing points in the direction of flow (towards the

compartment). The connecting pipes are connected to the valve via end connectors. The cutting-ring fittings can

be loosened to replace/repair the valve.

It must be ensured that the pipes are sufficiently fastened and do not rub.

The solenoid coil of the valve is connected to the LUBING Touch Controller with a

valve connector. It often makes sense to combine the cables of the valve connectors in

junction boxes to form a multi-core cable (see chapter 7.8 “Connection scheme Vario-

system”). The cables must be connected to the Touch Controller according to the wiring

plans (see chapter 7 “Wiring plans”).

4.6 Last steps of the assembly

After switching on the water and power supply, the “First start-up” (chapter 4.1) can follow.

The high-pressure nozzles are only installed after thorough flushing of all lines during the “First start-up”.

NOTE

All protective conductors of the valves have to be connected to the protective conductor terminal in the

Touch Controller.
