: In the top part the scrollers name, per type, can be seen and below the colors and their
palettes (the values can be changed using EDIT+). Also “dark gel” can be set, see below. Each
scroller type appears in the table, including all fixtures (scrollers) in patch. If different types of
scrollers are used, each type has to be selected individually from the patch table entering from “+”
cell.
34.1.1. Dark gel
This function is used to protect the dark gels of heat and burns … for this purpose 2 gels of the
same dark color must be joined together in the scroller. In the definition table this color should be
marked as “dark”. When in scene the color filter of this position in the scroller will move slowly
back and forth avoiding a hot spot on the filter and a damage or burn due to overheat.
34.2. CONFIGURATION OF THE FIXTURES IN THE CACHE LIST
If the
Cache
list the fixture type needed is not available, it can be downloaded and be replaced
with a non-used fixture in the list. The different types are downloaded from the fixture library that
must be on a USB stick, where each file is in a folder with the name of its ID manufacturer, and all
the ID folders inside a general folder, named
FIXTURES
. To replace a fixture to the
Cache
:
Toggle the active table,
Patch
&
Cache
, pressing
[OPTIONS]
, to activate
Cache
.
Select the type to be replaced, and select the option
2: Load
This command opens the library that is on the USB stick, ordered in a list by manufacturer. It is
necessary to select a
Manuf
to read its fixtures files. Select the desired fixture and load it with
the option
0: Load
Remember! The reading of the fixtures from the USB needs this folders organization; fixture inside
ID folder, and this folder insede the FIXTURES folder.
