BACKHOE OPERATION

Important :
After on-loading the machine to transfer, disengage
the boom lock, lower the backhoe bucket to the
trailer/truck floor, lower the loader bucket, set the
parking brake of the tractor, shut off the engine and
remove the key.
To avoid damage on hood and SMV sign, check hood
secured
properly and remove SMV sign from
dipperstick while driving transport. Re-install SMV sign
after transporting.
Trailer/Truck Transporting Observe the following safety warnings when
working with your new backhoe/tractor.
When using a backhoe, be aware of bucket
and boom location at all times. When raising a
dipperstick(arm) with bucket rolled forward, material
can spill onto non target area causing injury to
assistant or damage other objects.
Do not dig near stabilizers. Ground under
stabilizers could collapse. Make all movements slow
and gradual when practicing operation.
Make sure always fasten the machine with chains and
chain binders to the trailer.
Determine and note the maximum height of the
machine,
for underpass clearance, before
transporting.
Note :
Use strong and long enough ramps to provide a low
angle to the trailer/truck when on/off-loading the
machine to or from the trailer/truck.
Operate from backhoe operators seat only.
Pay attention, be ready to stop, immediately in case
of an emergency.
To help prevent roll-over, adjust the rear
wheels to their widest setting to maximize stability.
Refer
to your Tractor Operator's Manual for
recommendations.
When operating at temperature below 0 ℃ (32
℉ ), run the tractor engine enough with about half of
rated RPM until the oil temperature exceeds 0℃(32
℉).
Removal and reinstallation of backhoe sub
frame should be performed by only LS Mtron dealer.
