Do not use hot water when manually filling
the humidification chamber. Manual filling
of the chamber in conjunction with the HWC
"heating wire without temperature probe"
mode is not recommended.
Before the patient is connected to the
breathing tube system, make sure that the
treatment device is working properly, that
the treatment parameters are set correctly
and that the breathing gas flows freely out of
the breathing tube system.
The following illustration shows the
schematic set-up of the device:

Turn on a humidifier with the lateral main
switch only when the breathing tube system,
the humidification chamber and the water
reserve are connected, plugged or clamped
correctly.
NOTE
The prisma VENT AQUA humidifier saves
the last setting and uses it for a restart (for
example, after a power failure).
