7 Faults
If you are unable to remedy faults with the aid of the table, or in the event of unexpected
operation or an incident, contact your specialist dealer to have the device repaired. To avoid
serious damage, do not continue using the device.
8 Maintenance
The module is designed to have a useful service life of 6 years.
If the module is used as intended in accordance with these instructions for use, it does not
require any maintenance.
If you identify faulty parts during the function check (see "6 Function check", page 40) ,
contact your authorized dealer.
Fault Cause Remedy

therapy device's display.
Contact problem or defective
module.
Remove and then reconnect the
module
(see 4.2, p.36) , (see 4.1,
p.35) .
If the fault persists: Have the module
replaced.
No values for SpO
2
and PR are
displayed.
Contact problem or defective
SpO
2
sensor.
Disconnect the sensor from the SpO
2
connection cable or the SpO
2
connection cable from the module and
reconnect.
If the fault persists:
Have the sensor replaced.
The SpO
2
sensor is poorly
positioned
Check the position and fitting of the
SpO
2
sensor. Select another sensor
size if necessary.
Nail polish or contaminated
finger Check finger. If necessary: Clean
finger.
