A – Operating screen
When the device is switched on, the operating
screen is displayed: The humidifier is in operating
mode and begins to heat the tubes and the water in
the water chamber to the set control temperatures.
When the humidifier is switched on, it automatically
recognises the electrical configuration of the
connected ventilation tubes and displays a
corresponding screen:

If the humidifier is set to heat both tubes, an alarm
screen will indicate a disconnected heating cable of
the expiration tube.
Pressing (about half a second) the button to pause
the audible alarm confirms the new configuration and
the humidifier continues operation only with the
heated inspiration tube.
If the humidifier is only equipped with the heated
inspiration tube, no alarm is triggered when the
heating cable of the expiration tube is connected and
the humidifier continues operation with the new
configuration (both tubes heated).
When switched on for the first time, the temperature
value at the chamber outlet and near the patient is
set to 37 or 39°C.
In operating mode, the green LED on the device will
flash.
