Output Type
There are six output types that are currently supported by Domino:
Regardless of output type, if Burst Logging was used, then the user has the option of averaging the
magnetometer and accelerometer values during each burst interval or converting each point separately
without averaging. Averaging is enabled by default. To disable averaging click the
“Options…” button.
See section 7.2.1 for more information on output formatting options.
7.1.1
Discrete Channels
This output type contains all of the magnetometer, accelerometer and temperature data, and outputs
two separate files, one for the accelerometer and magnetometer, and one for temperature. The only
processing of the data by Domino is to apply calibration coefficients to the raw sensor data. The
magnetometer and accelerometer values are presented in their native components X, Y and Z with units
of milli-gauss (mG) and standard gravity (g). The temperature values are reported in degrees centigrade
(C). The Date and Time format can be set in the options (see section 7.2: Time Format for more
information). For these examples, ISO 8601 Time has been chosen.
