Fuel injector
The possible cause is that the
fuel injector pressure is lower
than 23MPa, the fuel is atom-
ized poorly, or there is fuel
leakage.
Repair or change the fuel injector (Re-
fer to Section 3, Chapter 6, Part II)
2
Water tempera-
ture
The cooling water temperature
is too low.
Increase the coolant temperature.

1
Piston ring
The piston ring is worn excessively, or
the elasticity of the piston ring is insuf-
ficient due to carbon deposit, resulting
in ingression of the engine oil into the
combustion chamber.
Change the piston ring (Refer to
Section 4, Chapter 2, Part II)
2
Engine oil
The engine oil level is too high.
The engine oil level is declined
within the specified range.
3
Gaseous ring
The gaseous ring is installed in a reverse
direction or the open ends are scattered
by less than 180°, resulting in ingres-
sion of engine oil into the combustion
chamber.
Re-install the gas ring (Refer to
Section 3, Chapter 2, Part II)
