Important steps before using the photometer
Please carry out the following steps as described in the In-
struction manual. Become familiar with your new photometer
before starting with the first tests:
• Unpacking and inspection of delivery contents, see page 72.
• Install the rechargeable batteries/batteries and the Lithium-
battery, see page 36, 37.
• Using rechargeable batteries:
Charge the rechargeable batteries
in the instrument for
5 days (it is possible to continue using the instrument). Now
use the instrument without mains power until the first battery
warning comes up. Charge again, for 4 days this time. Repeat
this cycle four times.
Perform the following settings in the Mode-Menu;
Instruction manual from page 44 and following:
• MODE 10: select language
• MODE 12: set date and time
• MODE 34: perform “Delete data“
If required set other functions.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The Lithium battery (for saving data and clock) works for ap-
prox. ½ year in case of no power from mains adapter or re-
chargeable batteries/batteries.
