Insert the adapter for 13 mm Ø vials.
1. Place the blank in the sample chamber. The blank is part
of the test kit.
2. Press ZERO key.
3. Remove the blank from the sample chamber.
4. Fill the sample container to the 25 ml mark with the
water sample.
5. Place one Vacu-vial
®
in the sample container. Snap the
tip by pressing the vial against the side of the sample
container. The Vacu-vial
®
breaks at the neck and the vial
fills automatically. A small volume of inert gas remains
in the Vacu-vial
® .
6. Mix the contents of the Vacu-vial
®
by inverting it several
times, allowing the bubble to move from one end to
the other. Dry the outside of the vial.
7. Place the Vacu-vial ® in the sample chamber.
8. Press TEST key.
Wait for a
reaction period of 10 minutes
.
After the reaction period is finished the measurement
starts automatically.
The result is shown in the display as Hydrazine.
