O
Interval
Selecting this option means that the user will be automatically prompted to initiate a PV
test after a specified time. A separate PVS dial is displayed on the main Run screen and
the pointer will count down the time until a PV test is due. An interval of 6 minutes, which is
the minimum time interval you can set, was used for the example screen shot below
Once the PV test is due the PVS panel goes red and an error message is displayed.
Tapping on the PVS panel will start the PV test process.
Once the pointer passes the time the PV test was due it continues to move into the red
negative time section of the dial.
If the Fault on timeout option has been enabled in this screen, after the pointer reaches the
end of the scale, shown as 5 minutes on the screenshot above, a system error will be
logged and the error message shown below will be displayed.
O
Batch
Selecting this option means that the user will be automatically prompted to initiate a PV
test when a new batch is started or when a batch ends. The ‘PVS on product start‘ and
‘PVS on product end‘ options in this screen are provided to enable this functionality.
A Product Registration Photo-eye must be fitted to use the Interval and Batch options.
■
Interval
This option only appears when the Interval Test timing option is selected. It is used to set the
time interval in hours and seconds between carrying out PV tests. See the Interval information
under Test timing above for further details.
Tap in the Hour field to display a pop-up numeric keypad screen and enter the number of hours
required. Then tap in the Minutes field and repeat the process.
■
Synchronisation
This option only appears when the Interval Test timing option is selected. Its purpose is to set
the exact time to start a PV test.
