Configure server
Administrator privileges for the server are needed for the following settings.
3.5.1
Change BIOS settings
The settings shown in this chapter are only an example from one operating system.
In order for the server to restart automatically after a power failure, the BIOS settings need to be modified.
Prerequisites

The Windows operating system is installed.
1. Restart the server to open the BIOS.
ð
A message appears at the bottom of the screen:
«Please press DEL or F2 to Enter UEFI BIOS
settings»
.
2. Press the
«DEL»
or
«F2»
key during the reboot process.
ð
The
«UEFI BIOS»
menu opens.
3. Select the Language symbol to open language settings. (“Select your preferred language.”)
4. Select
«Restore after AC Power Loss > On»
.
5. Select
«Power On»
.
6. Select
«Save and Exit»
to save your settings.
ð
The server restarts.
3.5.2
Change server name
To make it easier to find the server on the network, we recommend that you change its name.
1. Open
Windows > Settings > System > About
.
2. Under “Device specifications”, press
«Rename this PC»
.
ð
The
«Rename your PC»
window opens.
3. Enter the new server name in the text box, e.g. MMTOPLOEPFE01.
