Troubleshooting
1.
For your safety, battery pack includes short circuit and overload protection systems. Should the
system experience either a short circuit or overload situation, power will be cut automatically.
Unplug the battery pack from motor, wait 3 minutes, then fully charge battery pack before
reconnecting to motor.
2.
If the red light flashes rapidly (0.3 second intervals), it indicates a problem with the battery pack
which may include voltage overload, temperature overload, power loss, etc. Please stop charging
and/or using battery pack immediately until red light stops flashing rapidly. Please note that red light
flashing slowly (2 second intervals) is normal and reminds the user that the battery pack is low and
should be charged as soon as possible.
3.
Only a qualified technician may repair battery pack. Tampering with battery pack casing will void
warranty.
4.
My battery is connected, and furniture does not recline?
a.
Ensure that the battery is properly installed and plugged in as instructed above. Specifically, ensure
that the cord from the battery is connected to the motor cord from the power recliner mechanism
and not the cord for the power headrest or power lumbar.
b.
Follow the charging instructions if the red-light is flashing slowly (2 second intervals).
c.
Verify that your furniture reclines when connected directly to the wall plug without the battery
installed. This will help determine if the issue is with the recliner, battery connection, or the battery.
5.
One or more of the power features (i.e. power lumbar or headrest if included) of the furniture do not
function.
a.
Ensure that the power cables for each feature are connected according to your furniture’s instruction
manual.
b.
Ensure that the cables are attached to the recliner power cord according to the directions above.
c.
Verify that the power feature operates when connected directly to the wall plug without the battery
installed. This will help determine if the issue is with the furniture, battery connection, or the battery.
