Instructions
Please read these instructions and warnings carefully before operating to ensure safe
and satisfactory operation of this product.
Please also retain these instructions for future use.
Warnings:
•
This is a Class II product and does not require an earth connection.
•
Always use the correct type and wattage of bulb.
•
When changing a bulb, always switch off the light at the wall socket and allow
the bulb to cool down before handling.
•
Dispose of old bulbs carefully.
• Do not handle bulb glass directly, always use a clean dry lint free cloth to avoid
contamination of the glass surface. Failure to handle correctly will result in premature
bulb failure and / or explosion of the bulb.
•
Do not switch on the light until the assembly is complete.
• Only use the lamp fitting on a stable / dry and level support surface.
•
Do not cover the lamp or bulb during use as this could be a potential safety hazard
•
Turn off the appliance when not in use.
•
The luminaire is not intended for use by children unless suitable adult supervision is
provided.
•
Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the luminaire.
•
The fitting is intended for indoor use only.
•
If the external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, it shall be exclusively
replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person in order to
avoid a hazard.

Do not use excessive force to tighten the shades, these are constructed from glass and
can be broken if overtightened.

Ensure that the light bulb is not within the recommended 0.5m of any surface
when operating as this could be a potential safety hazard.

Never exceed the bulb wattage stated.
The glass shades of this lamp fitting attain high operating
temperatures, Do Not Touch the glass when in operation or until the surface has cooled.
