Extending and Retracting the Ladder
1.
Disengage both lock buttons on the rung
(Fig.4)

2.
Fully extend or retract the rung
(Fig.5)
.
3.
Engage the lock buttons
(Fig.6)
.
NOTE:
Lock buttons cannot be engaged if the rung is not
fully extended or retracted.
MOVING PARTS CAN PINCH, CUT, AND CRUSH.
KEEP HANDS OFF MOVING PARTS AT ALL TIMES
AND EXERCISE CAUTION WHEN EXTENDING OR
RETRACTING THE LADDER.
MAKE SURE ALL LOCK BUTTONS ARE IN THE
“LOCK” POSITION PRIOR TO ASCENT OR
DESCENT. UNLOCKED LOCK BUTTONS MAY CAUSE
INSTABILITY AND COULD LEAD TO A FALL.
