13. Preparation
In order to ensure safety and efficiency when operating the
GSG-AN-
VM
the following tasks must be performed prior to starting work:
•
Always replace or install any damaged or missing components
before operating the machine!
•
Check to make sure that all bolts are tightened.
•
Check the hydraulic lines for damage and replace, if necessary,
according to the regulations of the trade association.
•
Wheel nuts on tank trailer:
Tighten the wheel nuts after 20, 60 and 100 operating hours.
See instructions on tank trailer frame.
For torques, refer to the specifications of the rim manufacturer or
the
LIPCO replacement parts list
for the corresponding rim type.
•
Check air pressure in the tires; for required air pressure, see
specifications of tire manufacturer or separate
LIPCO replace-
ment parts list
for the respective tire type.
•
Before each use, make sure that all safety devices on the tractor,
GSG-AN-VM
and the universal joint shaft are installed and func-
tioning.
