In the Router’s web-based utility, click the

To export a client certificate, click

and save the certificate as a
.pem
file.
Distribute the certificate to all QuickVPN users.

For each QuickVPN client, repeat steps 1-6.

NOTE:
If the Router’s LAN IP address is the
default, 192.168.1.1, then a pop-up window
will appear when you first save these settings.
You will be asked if you want the Router to
automatically change its LAN IP address to
prevent conflicting IP addresses. To allow the
Router to change its LAN IP address, click
Yes
.
If there is an IP address conflict, the QuickVPN
client will not be able to connect to the Router.
Linksys QuickVPN Client Installation and
Configuration
For each QuickVPN client, do the following:
Install Linksys QuickVPN. (Use the appropriate

installation procedure, “Install from the CD” or
“Download from the Internet”.)
Install the client certificate.

Install from the CD-ROM
Insert the RV082 CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.

Click
Start
and then click
Run
. In the field provided,
enter
D:\VPN_Client.exe
(if “
D
” is the letter of your
CD-ROM drive).
The

screen appears. Read the
agreement. Click
Yes
to accept the terms and
conditions, and then the appropriate files are copied
to the computer. Clicking the
Back
or
No
button will
close the window, and the software will not be installed
on the computer.
