LB-ON-300AC/400AC RFoG Optical Node (AGC with Burst Mode)
Operation explanation
1. Clean incoming fiber connector and ONU adapter.
2. Test the optical receiving power to meet the design demand using an optical power
meter.
3. Connect incoming fiber drop to the fiber adopter and power the unit. When the
Receive Optical power indicator turns green the value of input optical power can be
verified at the Receiving optical power test port.
4. RF Test port level is 20dB lower than output port.
5. Return RF signal will be injected into the RF output.
6. Optical Out indicator will illuminate when Return RF signal activates the laser.
Trouble Shooting
1. No power; Check Coaxial cable and connectors, Check power adapter for proper
DC voltage.
2. Low output level: check and clean optical connector and adapter.
3. Other problems, please contact Lindsay Broadband, DO not open unit.
