2xMM-2xDUO and 2xSM-2xDUO

2xMM-QUAD and 2xSM-QUAD

2xSM-BiDi-DUO

For all R-series models

Local HDMI in

Connect the local source devices (e.g. PC, Blu-ray player) using the HDMI 

input 1 and 2 ports by HDMI cables. 

HDMI out

Connect the sink devices (e.g. monitor, projector) to the HDMI output 1 and 

2 ports by HDMI cables.

Ethernet

Optionally connect the receiver to a LAN in order to control the device.

Power

Connect the power adaptor to the AC input on the receiver first, then to the 

AC power socket.

WARNING! 

User Ethernet is also transmitted over the fiber optical interface so be sure not to create 

network loop.
ATTENTION! 

An endpoint model can be connected to the same type of endpoint model, for example 

a 2xMM-2xDUO can be connected to another 2xMM-2xDUO. Or the 2xSM-BiDi-DUO is compatible any 

F-series endpoint device which is built with BiDi SFP+ modules.

The HDMI input ports can be used as local input ports only when the device is configured as receiver.

Changing the Operation Mode

The operation mode of the UBEX endpoint device can be changed using the following methods:
