Section 5. Front panel operations
5.5. Crosspoints menu
The following simple operations can be done in the Crosspoints menu:
port locking/unlocking,
port muting/unmuting,
output switching.
These features are available at the audio and video ports that are installed in the given
MODEX.
5.6. USB K&M menu
Connected
USB devices’ state and basic information are displayed in this menu.

5.7. EDID menu (transmitter)
Available input ports are listed in the EDID menu of the transmitter. If there is a DVI and an
HDMI input port on the AV module, both will be listed. Currently emulated EDID can be set
on each port.
5.7.1. Viewing and changing the emulated EDID
Step 1.
Navigate to EDID menu and press the enter
button.
Step 2.
Select the desired port by the up
▲ and down ▼
buttons, than press the enter
or the right
► button.
Step 3.
Currently emulated EDID is shown. In the first line the
selected port and the source of the EDID is shown.
On attached figure factory EDID nr. 12 is emulated on
DVI input port. The second line is scrolled
automatically to display more information about the EDID: the manufacturer code,
the resolution with the refresh rate and the sink type.
Step 4.
Use the left
◄ and right ► buttons to select EDID group: Factory EDIDs (F) / User
EDIDs (U) / Dynamic EDID (D). Use the up
▲ and down ▼ buttons to select the
desired EDID (keep the button pressed to scroll the list faster). The second line of
the LCD is scrolled automatically to display more information about the EDID. See
more information about EDID structure in section
Step 5.
Press the enter
button to emulate selected EDID
on the input port.
