
4.2. Video interface
The video crosspoint settings can be controlled by any of the following ways:

Pressing
Video Select
button on the device,
▪
Using Lightware Device Controller (LDC),
▪
Sending LW2 or LW3 protocol commands, or
▪
Using the
Autoselect
function.
Port selection
The transmitter can receive LW2 or LW3 commands from USB, RS-232 or Ethernet
interface, which can be either local or remote. It means that the input selection can also be
controlled remotely from an optical receiver’s RS-232 or Ethernet port.
Only one video and audio can be selected to transmit; below figure shows the port diagram
of input selection.

The audio/video signal on the local HDMI output port is always the same as on the optical
output port.

4.2.1. The Autoselect feature
There are three types of Autoselect as follows.

First detect mode
: selected input port is kept connected to the output while it has an
active signal
▪
Priority detect mode
: always the highest priority active input is selected to transmit.
▪
Last detect mode
: always the last attached input is selected to transmit.
