Please note the following
1) For best performance Li-ion batteries should
not be stored for prolonged periods without
being charged at regular intervals.
2) Manufacturers recommend keeping the
battery in a state-of-charge of 40-50 percent
when placing in storage. If in doubt, keep the
light in a higher charged state in a cool place.
3) Self-discharge rate is approximately 10% per
month.
Operating Instructions
The inspection light output functions are
controlled by a sequential switch on the front of
the light. Repeated switch operation will cycle
between the worklight and spotlight output.
Under optimum conditions, with a full charge,
the light can normally be used for 3 hours in
worklight mode or 9 hours in spotlight mode.
To achieve the best performance from your
Tech-Light 300, always switch the light off when
the battery power begins to run low, and
recharge immediately.

This versatile rechargeable inspection light
features a SMD LED worklight that will provide
either a powerful 300 lumen output floodlight or
a bright 100 lumen spotlight.
The magnetic back and magnetic rotating
handle allows the light to be attached to most
metal surfaces and set at a convenient angle for
the work in hand, the addition of two folding

many situations.
Battery Recharging
The Tech-Light 300 must be fully charged for a
minimum of 4 hours before being used for the
first time, this will ensure that the battery gives
its best performance now and on future
re-charging cycles.
The charging adaptor is for recharging the
battery only. It cannot be used to directly power
the light.
Failure to recharge the light every 3 months may
permanently damage or reduce the performance
of the light.
The battery charge does not have to be fully
depleted before recharging.
Using the Charging Adaptor
The inspection light may be recharged using
either a 240v mains or 12v power supply using
the appropriate adaptor.
Plug the USB charger lead into the lights micro
USB charging socket and then plug the charging
adaptor into a 240V socket (switch the socket on
if applicable) or 12V car adaptor.
While on charge the small charging indicator
lamp will glow red and will turn green when the
battery is fully charged (approximately 4 hours).
The light may also be charged from any USB
regulated outlet such as a laptop or phone
charger using the correct USB cable.
