Communications
Communication to the ApexZ can be set up via a wired Ethernet connection or a wireless Wi-Fi connection. With
the Ethernet connection enabled, data from the ApexZ can be transferred manually or real time to the LMS
Express 8 Software. The ApexZ can also be remotely controlled and configured via Lighthouse’s mobile device
application Basecamp.

HOME – CONFIG – Connectivity – Ethernet tab
Ethernet Address Enabled
When Ethernet is enabled
the IP Address and Subnet
buttons will be locked.
Ethernet Address Disabled
To set or change the instruments IP
or Subnet addresses you must
disable Ethernet first.
Press the enable/disable toggle
button to disable Ethernet and
allow input of a new setting.
The IP and Subnet buttons will
change to light grey indicating the
button is available to edit.
MAC Address is fixed and cannot
be changed.
