TO SET UP WHEELCHAIR  

While facing front of wheelchair, open by by placing hands on 

seat rails and pushing down and out until seat is open and 
level.  Attach spreader bar to lock wheelchair in place by lifting 
the spreader bar up to adjustment knob and pushing the slot 
into place.  Then tighten adjustment knob until secure.  

Attach Footrests by aligning holes on tabs at top of Footrests 

with hinge pins on outside of front frame, then swing Footrests 
to front until Footrest Release Levers lock into place.

Adjust Footrest length (while user is seated) by loosening the 

cam lever just above the Footplate,  pushing in the adjustment 
buttons and sliding the inner tubing up or down to desired 
setting until the adjustment buttons protrude fully from the 
adjustment holes.  Then snap cam lever back into place.  

Make sure the Footplate is at least 2.5” from the floor for 

proper clearance. 

TO FOLD WHEELCHAIR FOR STORAGE 

Release the spreader bar on the backrest by loosening the 
adjustment knob and lowering the bar. 
Make sure the Footrests are in the forward locked position 
with the Footplates in the vertical position or REMOVE the 
Footrests by pulling the Release Levers, swinging the Footrests 
outward and lifting them from the hinge pins.
Standing in front of the wheelchair, grab the the seat with both 
hands at the front and back  and pull up until closed.

OPERATING WHEEL LOCKS

Engage by pushing the levers forward until they lock into place and 

disengage by pulling back on the levers until the wheels roll freely.

ADJUSTING ARMS

Remove arms for easy transfer by depressing spring buttons and 

lifting out of front and rear sockets. 

Reverse arms to provide support while in reclined position.

ADJUSTING ELEVATING LEG RESTS

Lift the Foot Plate to the desired height.  The Elevating Leg Rest will 

automatically lock into place. 

Lower by holding Foot Plate, pushing out on the Release Lever and 

lowering the Foot Plate to the desired length.

Engage Release Lever after adjusting to desired length.

RECLINING BACKREST

To recline the backrest, make sure the wheel locks are in the locked 

position.  Then squeeze both release handles simutaneously and 
slowly lower the backrest to the desired position.  Release the handles 
and the backrest will lock into place.

Clean frame with a damp cloth and dust weekly.
Clean upholstery and armrests with mild soap and 

water.  

Never use abrasive cleansers or scouring pads.
If exposed to liquid, dry the wheelchair thoroughly as 

soon as possible.

If any component appears worn or is not working 

properly, contact an authorized dealer for repair 
and/or appropriate replacement parts.

Solid rubber tires need minimal maintenance, but 

should be cleaned occasionally with a damp cloth. 

If tires become severely worn or cracking appears, 

contact an authorized dealer.

Wheels and Casters should be checked periodically 

and adjusted and lubricated as needed by an autho-
rized dealer.
