Pre-Operating Instructions: Generator/Welder
Setup
CAUTION
: Any attempt to start the unit before it has been properly serviced may result
in engine failure and void warranty.
ADD ENGINE OIL:
Refer to the diagrams below.
1.
Place unit on level surface.
2.
Clean area around Oil Hole Dipstick/Plug & Unscrew Oil Hole Dipstick/Plug.
3.
Fill with appropriate type and amount. Refer to Chart below for recommended
oil type based on Environmental temperature.
NOTE: Refer to “Product Specifications” section for universal recommended oil
type and oil amount.
4.
Replace Oil Hole Dipstick/Plug and tighten securely.
WARNING!
Fuel and its vapors are extremely flammable and explosive.
Fire or explosion can cause severe burns or death.
WHEN ADDING FUEL
Turn unit off and let it cool for a minimum of three minutes before removing fuel cap. Turn and remove cap slowly in
order to relieve residual tank pressure.
Always fill the fuel tank with the unit outdoors.
DO NOT overfill tank. Allow room for fuel expansion.
Keep fuel away from sparks, open flames, heat, pilot lights, and other ignition sources.
