Introduction

The EM048063P3S and EM048126P3S series battery modules are designed to be part

of a small-scale electric energy storage system (ESS) for two purposes:

• Telecommunication system backup

• Residential photovoltaic system

NOTE

Hereafter in this manual, ESS refers to a set consisting of EM048063P3S or

EM048126P3S series battery modules. Higher-level system refers to a rectifier or

inverter that connects to the ESS to charge and discharge the ESS.
