You can check your engine system by operating the
engine system warning light as follows.
1. Turn the ignition off and open the engine hood.
2. Open the connector box cover and connect the terminals
“E1” and “T
E1
” with a suitable jumper wire.
3. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position, but do not start the
engine or press the accelerator pedal. The warning light will
blink.
When the engine system is normal, the light blinks in quick
succession as shown.
