Printing on specialty media
Printing photos

You can print high quality photos with the cartridges that
came with your printer. To use these cartridges, skip to step 5.
For the best possible photo quality, replace the black cartridge
in your printer with a photo cartridge.
Glossy/photo
papers stick
together

Use glossy/photo
paper designed for an
inkjet printer.
•
Remove each sheet of
glossy/photo paper as
it exits from the
printer.
White streaks
appear in photos
Clean the print cartridge
nozzles. For help, see
“Cleaning print nozzles”
on page 61.
Printer is printing
but no photo
appears
Remove sticker and tape
from the gold contact
area of the cartridge.
