LCD Touch Panel Test
This test runs the awTPtest application.
To perform this test:
1.
From the Manufacturing Test menu, navigate to LCD Touch Panel Test .
2.
The following occur during the test:
•
The display changes colors. The icons beside the display light up.
•
Touching the display stops the changing colors. Grids appear, and touching each square changes its
color.
•
Touching the icons beside the display deactivates them.
3.
Touch the location of three times to cancel the test return to the Manufacturing Test menu.
PH Contact Test
This test checks the printhead contacts without the printer having to jet ink. It is capable of checking 27 out of 44
contacts.
To perform this test:
1.
From the Manufacturing Test menu, navigate to PH Contact Test .
2.
The result for each tank appears on the display.
•
If no printhead contact fails, the result is
Passed
.
•
If a printhead contact fails, the result is
Failed
.
3.
Touch or to cancel the test and return to the Manufacturing Test menu.
Tank Install Prime
This is the prime operation that is normally initiated when installing a new tank.
To perform this procedure:
1.
From the Manufacturing Test menu, navigate to Tank Install Prime .
2.
Touch or to cancel the test and return to the Manufacturing Test menu.
Pump Pressure Test
This test is used during manufacturing to test the cap/hose seal. This test requires special equipment found on
the manufacturing line.
Clear NVRAM
This option clears the non-protected area of the flash-emulated NVRAM by restoring values to default or by
initializing the values to 0x00s or 0xFFs.
To perform this procedure:
1.
From the Manufacturing Test menu, navigate to Clear NVRAM .
2.
The printer performs a POR if the procedure is successful.
