Printhead carrier assembly with tank receiver assembly removal
Warning:
Do not interchange screws during reinstallation, as it may damage the machine. Always take note of
their original placement.
Warning:
Be careful not to touch the printhead nozzle when doing this removal procedure. It can damage and
contaminate the printhead assembly.
1.
Remove the power supply. See

Remove the duplex unit. See

Remove the rear cover. See

Remove the left cover. See

Remove the right cover. See

Remove the control panel assembly. See

Remove the wireless card. See

Remove the card reader. See

Remove the midframe cover. See

Remove the alignment sensor. See

13.
Move the gear (A) clockwise until the IPV fingers (B) touch the tubes as shown.
Note:
This will close the tubes to prevent ink from spilling.
