Card Reader Test
This tests the access to the memory card inserted in the card slot. The printer writes a file to the card, reads the
file, and verifies if the file read is the same as the file written.
The following are the possible results of the test:
1.
Test Successful
—Successful write/read and verification
2.
Test Failed
—Failed verification
3.
Unable to test card. No space available.
—No space available to write the test file
4.
Unable to open file for testing
—Error while opening the test file
5.
Unable to write to card
—Error while writing the test file into the card
6.
Unable to read from card
—Error while reading the test file from the card
7.
Card removed while writing or reading
—Error during card access when card is removed
8.
No card inserted
—No available card to test
9.
More than one card inserted
—Multiple cards are in the card slot
To perform this test:
1.
From the Manufacturing Test menu, navigate to
Card Reader Test
.
2.
Insert a memory card into the card slot.
3.
The result appears on the display.
4.
Touch
to cancel the test, and return to the Manufacturing Test menu.
Print Purge Page
This option prints a printhead purge page.
To perform this procedure:
1.
From the Manufacturing Test menu, navigate to
Print Purge Page
.
2.
Follow the instructions that appear on the display.
3.
Touch
to cancel this procedure, and return to the Manufacturing Test menu.
De-Prime PH
This option evacuates the test fluid to prepare the machine for shipping.
To perform this procedure:
1.
From the Manufacturing Test menu, navigate to
De-Prime PH
.
2.
Follow the instructions that appear on the display.
3.
Touch
to cancel this procedure, and return to the Manufacturing Test menu.
