TESTING THE SHADE
Testing the shade with the manual control button will allow you to ensure that the
motor and power source are working correctly.
IMPORTANT:
When raising the shade for the first time, observe how the fabric
stacks. It should stack evenly. Immediately stop the shade if the bottom rail is
not level or the shade starts to rub against either window jamb. "See "Adjusting
Alignment and Folds (if necessary)" on page 23.".
• Press the manual control button on the bottom of
the end cap to test operation. If the shade does not
operate, see “Troubleshooting” on pages
24-25
.
— Press the button to alternately lower, stop, and raise the shade.

INSTALLING THE VALANCE
Be sure to complete motorization set-up before installing the valance.
Install Valance
• Hook the top of the valance over the top
lip of the headrail.
• Carefully press the valance down and
back against the headrail until the valance
clips into place.
Attach Valance Returns (Outside Mount Only)
• Fold the valance returns around the end of
the headrail and firmly press into place so
that the hook-and-loop strips engage.
