1.
Mount the Interface Board onto an available spot of the SMC mounting bracket.
2.
Use the following connectors to upgrade your Leviton Residential Intercom System:
•
Dry contact input screw terminals (16-24 AWG)
- allow a dry contact closure (for
example - security sensors, motion sensors etc.) to activate the phones in the house with
the distinctive ring of the zone it is connected to. When the phone is picked up, it activates
communication or monitoring of the wall stations connected to that zone. For example, a
motion sensor connected to the top two screw terminals will cause the house phones to
ring with the zone one distinctive ring when the motion sensor is activated.
NOTE:
DO NOT apply power to dry contact terminals.
•
Output/Aux RJ45 jack
- allows for the connection of multiple station interface boards,
door chime module, door strike module and future applications.
•
RCA connectors
- for future applications.
•
Power LED/connector

NOTE:
When more than four wall staions are used in the Leviton Residential Intercom
System, the second Interface Board connects to the avaliable RJ45 jack on the first Interface
