1.

  Mount the Interface Board onto an available spot of the SMC mounting bracket.

2.

   Use the following connectors to upgrade your Leviton Residential Intercom System:

 

•   

Dry contact input screw terminals (16-24 AWG)

 - allow a dry contact closure (for 

example - security sensors, motion sensors etc.) to activate the phones in the house with 

the distinctive ring of the zone it is connected to. When the phone is picked up, it activates 

communication or monitoring of the wall stations connected to that zone. For example, a 

motion sensor connected to the top two screw terminals will cause the house phones to 

ring with the zone one distinctive ring when the motion sensor is activated.

 

  NOTE:

 DO NOT apply power to dry contact terminals.

 

•   

Output/Aux RJ45 jack

 - allows for the connection of multiple station interface boards, 

door chime module, door strike module and future applications.

 

• 

RCA connectors

 - for future applications.

 

• 

Power LED/connector

 - for future applications.

 

NOTE:

 When more than four wall staions are used in the Leviton Residential Intercom 

System, the second Interface Board connects to the avaliable RJ45 jack on the first Interface 

Board

INSTALLATION

 FEATURES

Upgrades the Leviton Residential Intercom System for expanding up to 4 additional wall 

station locations

• 

Allows flexibility for integrating RCA video connection for cameras

• 

Allows for dry contact closure interface (occupancy sensors, etc)
