8.1.7.4 Module 4: Dynamic preset

Description
With this module, a preset value can be defined which the BPS 34 outputs following a teach
event. Defined as a teach event is either bit 0.0 in the output data of this module or a
switching input function. After reading in the preset, the current position value is replaced by
the preset value and the position now calculated and output on the basis of the preset. The
preset remains stored in the BPS 34 and remains active even following a new start. In order
for the BPS 34 to again output the tape value, bit 0.1 in the output data must be set (preset
reset). The preset value is transmitted to the BPS 34 together with the output data of the
PROFIBUS master. Thus, it can be changed during operation (dynamically).
