For use in EtherNet/IP, the serial number receives a serial number converted according to CIP. CIP
describes a special format for the serial number. After conversion to a CIP code, the serial number is, as
before, unique, but no longer corresponds in its resolution to the serial number on the name plate.
Product Name
This attribute contains a short designation of the product. Devices with the same product code may have
different product names.
