Communicating with the Device

Device parameters can be set via commands at the serial interface or using the easy-to-use
VisionREADER Setup Tool software.

9.1

Installing the "VisionREADER"-software

If there is no Java Runtime Environment Version 1.4 or higher present on your PC, you have
to install this first.

Insert the Installation-CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.

Double-click on the installation file (j2re-1_4_0_win-i.exe)
