Handling of the Code 39 check character
For the handling of the optional check character present with Code 39, you can make the
following settings by reading in one of the following configuration codes:
•
Ignore check character
Codes with and without check character are read (factory setting).
•
Evaluate check character but do not transmit
Only codes with check character are read. The check character is validated.
•
Evaluate and transmit check character
Only codes with check character are read. The check character is validated and out-
put in the message string following the code content.
