Foot Switch Robust
User Guide
SETTING UP FOR USE
The Footswitch Robust (SAP-FSR)
is often mounted on to wheelchair footplates, or on an insert that allows
quick and easy positioning on the footplate. There are threaded mounting holes on the underside to aid
mounting. It should be positioned to take the legs resting weight without accidental switching . It then only
requires a small flex of the foot to pivot the footplate and activate the switch with a re-
assuring ‘click’.
Insert the 3.5mm plug into your device. This switch is compatible with all 3.5mm sockets that use the normal
“Tip and Ring” for the switching connections.
PROBLEM SOLVING
Common faults such as the switches working intermittently will arise due to wear and tear on the sockets from
repeated connection and disconnection of the plugs. This is unavoidable but the sockets should last a number of
years before they need replacing.
Please contact your supplier of this unit for repairs or maintenance. Failing that, contact LEPMIS whose address
and telephone number are listed on the last page of this user manual.
This symbol means that the SAP-FSR must be re-cycled when no longer required. Please do not throw away
in the general refuse. Please request from LEPMIS a pre paid envelope in which to return it, or take it to your
council recycling facility.
