Step 6. Loosen the thumbscrew on the chassis.
Step 7. Grasp the network adapter and disengage it from the pin, retention brackets, and the connector on
the system board; then, lift the adapter out of the port openings on the rear of the chassis and
remove it from the server.
Step 8. If you are instructed to return the adapter, follow all packaging instructions, and use any packaging
materials for shipping that are supplied to you.
Replacing the dual-port network adapter
Use this information to replace the dual-port network adapter.
You can purchase one of the following dual-port network adapters to add two additional network ports in the
server. To order a dual-port network adapter option, contact your sales representative or reseller.
