Hot-swap power supply status LEDs
Each hot-swap power supply has three status LEDs.

1 Input status LED
Status Description Action
Off
The power supply is disconnected from
the ac power source.
No action is needed.
Green
The power supply is connected to the ac
power source.
No action is needed.
2 Output status LED
Status Description Action
Off
The server is off or the power supply is not
working properly.
If the power supply is not working properly,
replace the power supply. See “Hot-swap
power supply” on page 78.
Blinking green
(about one flash every
two seconds)
The power supply is in cold redundancy
active mode.
No action is needed.
Blinking green
(about two flashes
each second)
The power supply is in cold redundancy
sleep mode.
No action is needed.
Green
The server is on and the power supply is
working properly.
No action is needed.
3 Fault LED
Status Description Action
Off
The power supply is working properly. No action is needed.
Amber
The power supply has failed.
Replace the power supply. See “Hot-swap
power supply” on page 78.
RAID card
This topic helps you locate the connectors on RAID cards. Your server supports the following RAID cards
(supported type varies by server model):
• Lenovo ThinkServer RAID 520i PCIe Adapter (hereinafter referred to as RAID 520i Adapter)
• Lenovo ThinkServer RAID 720i PCIe Adapter (hereinafter referred to as RAID 720i Adapter)
