Step 2.
Place the microprocessor retention module in the microprocessor location on the system board.
Step 3.
Using a T8 Tork screwdriver, install the four screws that secure the module to the system board.
Attention:
Make sure that you install each heat sink with its paired microprocessor.
Step 4.
Install the microprocessor and heat sink (see “Installing a microprocessor and heat sink” on page
189).
Step 5.
Install the fan cage assembly (see “Installing the fan cage assembly” on page 151).
Step 6.
Install the air baffle (see “Installing the air baffle” on page 251).
Step 7.
Rotate the power-supply cage assembly back into the server. Press the power-supply cage release
tab and rotate the power-supply cage assembly into the chassis.
Step 8.
Install the side cover (see “Installing the side cover” on page 147).
