7. Align the four screws in the new 2.5-inch storage drive with the corresponding screw holes in the
bracket, and then install the four screws to secure the 2.5-inch storage drive in the bracket.

8. Slide the storage drive bracket into the appropriate storage drive bay to the front of the computer until
the four screw holes in the bracket align with the corresponding screw holes in the chassis.
Note: Ensure that you install storage drives first into the primary storage drive bay and then the
secondary storage drive bay. See “Computer components” on page 31.

9. Connect the signal cable and the power cable to the new 2.5-inch storage drive.
