clean the Display bonding ledge on the 

Rear Housing. The Display bonding ledge 

is highlighted in the photo.

Display bonding ledge cleaning is critical to the 

phone’s water resistance. You must thoroughly 

clean the surface with ISP Alcohol and allow it 

to dry completely before applying 3M AP-111 

Adhesion Promoter.

Wait for the ISP Alcohol to dry 

completely.

Do not use the same cotton swabs to clean 

with ISP Alcohol and apply 3M AP-111 

Adhesion Promoter. The Display will not 

properly adhere to the Rear Housing if the 

cotton swabs are reused. The cotton swabs 

may be used for 2 applications of the same 

chemical, but then must be discarded.

Repeat steps 1-2 one time.

111 Adhesion Promoter to the Display
