Light is only on when there is an issue 

with signal strength.

Side Switch

The primary reason for this switch is to turn off 

the internal fan in case the device is installed in 

a bedroom.
The side switch on the 

SAQM

 when in the 

UP

 

position turns on the internal fan and transmits air 

quality data to the thermostat.
