STEREO input channel

Each STEREO channel has two LEFT & RIGHT inputs with
two
electronically balanced JACK sockets
for line signals.
STEREO LINE INPUT
Two balanced JACK connectors (10k

):
receive the
line signal input
on
the channel.
STEREO
instruments (keyboards, samplers, drum machines,
tape/CD decks, etc.) or
MONO
instruments (using only the LEFT
connector) can be connected.
GAIN
Gain control:
regulates the amplification of the external signal fed into
the channel. In this case, regulation has continuous values which go from
+10 dB
(minimum gain)
to -
20 dB
(maximum gain).
To use the STEREO input channels with MONO signals, just connect the
input signal to the LEFT connector: in this manner, the same signal will be
sent to both the LEFT and RIGHT components of the channel, which will
behave just like a mono channel, presenting two perfectly identical signals, will
behave exactly like a mono signal.
Remember that if a signal is connected only to the RIGHT connector of the
STEREO channel, leaving the LEFT connector free, there will be no signal
on the channel: so whether it is used as a STEREO or as a MONO channel,
the LEFT connector must always be connected.
