Receiver ME check and upload instructions.
1 General
To check if your System1200 or GS09 receiver has an ME3 integrated enter the System
Information/Firmware
panel by pressing:
USER/(F3)(STAT)/3 System Information/(F6)(PAGE)
for the 1200 receivers
USER/(F3)(STAT)/5 System/(F6)(PAGE)
for the GS09 receiver
If the receiver shows version 3 other than 3.882 or 3.054, it may be affected.
1.1 Instructions for loading the ME2 firmware version in a GX12XX receiver.
For GX12XX receivers please use the following upload steps:
Make sure the batteries for the GX receivers are fully charged. Have the controller connected to
the receiver.
Copy the
ME3_3822.fw
file to the
System
folder of a
CF card
Insert the
CF card
into the receiver and turn the receiver on
In the
6 Tools… / 3 Upload System Files… / 3 Instrument Firmware
panel select the
ME3_3822.fw
file and press
(F1)(CONT)
to start the upload process
When the upload process is completed restart the receiver and check the firmware version has
been loaded successfully by checking the
Meas Engine
version is
3.822 or 3.054
