General information
The DIGICAT is designed to work in conjunction with the DIGITEX signal generator. It is also
compatible for use with any other signal generator that operates at the same frequency (8
or 33 kHz).
Function check
This is done to ensure the DIGICAT and DIGITEX are functioning correctly and are operating
at the same frequency.
1. Switch on the DIGITEX, select the required frequency and verify the mode and output
displays.
2. Ensure that the DIGITEX is in Induction mode (there should not be a plug in the connec-
tion socket).
3. Power up the DIGICAT and select the same frequency at which the DIGITEX is operating.
4. Bring the DIGICAT to within two metres of the DIGITEX.
The central bar display on the DIGICAT should indicate an output from the DIGITEX.
