Innovative and multifunctional
The first 8 x 56 with Leica high-performance optics and an integrated laser range-
finder – for identifying game with confidence while simultaneously determining
its exact distance.
Compact and lightweight
The LEICA GEOVID 8 x 56 BRF, weighing only 1,100 g (less than 39 oz) including
battery, and with a length of only 182 mm, is by far the lightest and most compact
8 x 56 binocular – as compared to conventional binoculars in this category without
rangefinders.
Bright and brilliant
Extraordinarily bright – ideal for hunting wild boar from a stand at twilight or at
night – thanks to Leica high performance optics with HDC™ multi-coating and a
front lens diameter of 56 mm. Outstanding image rendition, rich in contrast, with
neutral color rendition, razor-sharp all the way to the edges, more than satisfying
the highest demands in hunting.
Robust and comfortable
Uncompromised, precise function – even under the harshest conditions from
-15 to +50 °C (+5 to +122 °F). Secure and fatigue-free observation and range-
finding in every situation and over long periods of time, thanks to a well-balanced
weight distribution and to the optimal positioning of the operating elements.
Identify the game confidently – with the Geovid class from Leica
Leica is the first optics specialist to succeed in combining uncompromising high-
performance optics and a laser rangefinder in a particularly compact binocular. This
innovative concept for modern hunting optics has now been implemented for the first
time in the form of a classic binocular for hunting from a stand – with a performance
that is unmatched ! With the LEICA GEOVID 8 x 56 BRF, Leica defines a new era of high-
performance optics for hunting and demonstrates what is technically feasible – for a
modern, sportsmanlike way of hunting.
